A single horizontal pebble border strip at eye level or along a shower floor transition creates a focal point that changes the feel of the whole bathroom. Works well around shower niches, vanity backsplashes, and bathroom accent walls.

Kitchen Backsplashes

A pebble tile border above or below a standard backsplash tile adds organic texture to a flat surface. Natural earth tones pair well with white subway tile, concrete-look porcelain, and wood cabinetry.

How to Choose a Pebble Tile Border

Color

Available in warm beiges, java tan, bali ocean gray, charcoal black, amber, and mixed color blends. Neutral tones work across the widest range of tile combinations. Darker tones create stronger contrast in modern and contemporary spaces.

Finish

Standard pebble borders keep a raw, matte surface. Sliced pebble borders are cut flat for a smoother, lower-profile finish that is easier to clean. Polished pebble borders offer a glossier finish suited to contemporary tile combinations.

Width

Narrower strips work as subtle accent details. Wider border strips create a more prominent feature on shower walls and outdoor surfaces.

Installation and Care

Pebble tile borders are set into thinset mortar, grouted once cured, then sealed to protect the stone and grout from moisture and staining. Reseal every one to two years in showers and wet areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and avoid bleach, vinegar, and acidic cleaners.
